Thank you to those who took part in the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre’s 2nd Annual "Charity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament" held on Sunday, May 31st, 2009. Together we raised more than $7,300.00.

All Proceeds go to Big Brother and Big Sisters Organization.

Proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton

Upper Oakville Shopping Centre has been an integral part of the Oakville landscape since 1986. For 23 years we have been Oakville’s Original Lifestyle Shopping Centre, providing convenient, friendly service to our customers.

Our tournament is limited to 36 teams.

Age groups include:

Girls 13 & under
Boys 13 & under
Girls 14 – 18 year old
Boys 14 – 18 year old
Open Division (for adults or mixed age groups)

Courts will be set up in the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre parking lot, and each team entered is guaranteed at least 3 games.

The tournament is open to all that enjoy the game of basketball. The 3 on 3 format is very popular in many neighbourhoods in the United States, and we think that this format will work well here. Teams will be made up of 5 members allowing teams to sub players when necessary. We really hope groups of friends, co-workers or neighbours will join together, form a team, have a really great time, and help an important cause at the same time.
