On Saturday, June 20, the Blueberry Fields Community Garden celebrated its 10th anniversary with a community picnic at Upper Oakville Shopping Centre.
The afternoon brought together volunteers, neighbours, gardeners, families, and community members to celebrate a decade of growing food, building connections, and giving back. Guests enjoyed guided garden tours, gardening advice, free seed and seedling giveaways, door prizes, and the opportunity to connect with the people who have helped Blueberry Fields flourish over the past 10 years.
The event was a wonderful celebration of the garden’s impact on the community and a chance to recognize the dedication of the volunteers and supporters who have made it all possible.
