Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Agreement
Please read these official rules (the “Official Rules”) carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you if you enter the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre Upper Perks Contest (the “Contest”) sponsored by Upper Oakville Shopping Centre Ltd. (the “Sponsor”).
By participating in the Contest, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and RAVEN5 Ltd. (the “Administrator”). If you do not agree to the Official Rules, you may not enter the Contest.
2. Contest Period
The Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on July 31, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).
The Contest Period is divided into four (2) entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”). To be eligible for a prize in a given Entry Period, entries must be received during that Entry Period. Entries do not carry over to subsequent Entry Periods. Entries received after the end of an Entry Period will not be included in that Entry Period’s draw.
The Entry Periods are as follows:
Entry Period 1: March 1, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET to May 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET
Entry Period 2: June 1, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET to July 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET
3. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to current legal residents of the province of Ontario, Canada, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry (“Participant”,“entrant” or “you”).
Employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parent companies and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers of prizes, advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”), and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, municipal and local laws and regulations. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these rules has submitted an entry, that entry will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements. Void outside Canada and where prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

Registration Requirement: All entrants must complete the registration process before submitting an entry. Upon visiting the Contest Website, follow the instructions to complete and submit the registration form. You will be required to provide certain personal information, including your first and last name, a valid email address, and postal code of residence, and confirm that you have read and agree to these Official Rules. You must also acknowledge that personal information collected is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (as further described below).
You may optionally consent to receive marketing communications from the Sponsor by selecting the applicable checkbox. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to enter the Contest. If you opt in, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in any marketing email.
Entry Submission: Once registered, you may log in to your account dashboard and follow the instructions to submit one (1) entry. Subject to the limits below, you may return to the Contest Website and log in once per day to submit additional entries.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per person, per day, excluding Bonus Entries (described below).
Bonus Entries: After completing registration, you may navigate to the dashboard of the Contest Website and share the Contest using a valid Facebook, X, Pinterest, or LinkedIn account, or by email. For each eligible share, you will receive one (1) bonus entry into the Contest (each, a “Bonus Entry” and collectively, “Bonus Entries”). You may earn one (1) Bonus Entry per social network platform, per day, and one (1) Bonus Entry for sharing by email, per day. Only one (1) Bonus Entry per platform, per day will be awarded, regardless of the number of shares made on that platform or the number of emails sent.
There is a limit of five (5) Bonus Entries per person, per day.
There is a total limit of six (6) entries per person, per day, inclusive of Bonus Entries.
Entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Entries which are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent are null and void. If you enter the Contest via a mobile device using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
Entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. For the purpose of the Official Rules, “authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet service provider or other organization responsible for assigning the submitted email address. Each selected entrant may be required to provide the Sponsor with proof that the selected entrant is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a selected entrant based on the email address, the selected entrant will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the email address at the time of entry.
Registrations or entries which are incomplete, illegible or fraudulent are null and void. The Sponsor accepts no responsibility for registrations or entries that are lost, misdirected or delayed for any reason. The Sponsor accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, including but not limited to as a result of malfunction, human error, lost, delayed or garbled Internet or email transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone, technical, network, online, hardware or software or any combination thereof.
5. Prizes/Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) / Odds
There are eight (8) first prizes (each, a “First Prize”) available to be won. Four (4) First Prizes will be awarded in each Entry Period. Each First Prize consists of one (1) CAD $100.00 gift card or gift certificate redeemable at any participating shop located within Upper Oakville Shopping Centre.
The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each First Prize is CAD $100.00. The total ARV of all First Prizes is CAD $800.00.
The total ARV of all prizes available to be won in the Contest is CAD $800.00.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning a First Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.
General Prize Conditions:
All terms, conditions, and restrictions applicable to the awarding and redemption of any gift card or certificate that appear on the face of the card or certificate, or are otherwise provided with the applicable prize (including by reference to online terms), will apply.
Prizes are not transferable or assignable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions will be permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with a prize of equal or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.
If any selected entrant is unable or unwilling to accept a prize as awarded, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate eligible entrant may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules.
By participating in the Contest and/or accepting a prize, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Parties from and against any liability for loss, harm, damage, cost, or expense arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The Administrator will conduct random drawings at its offices to select potential winners in accordance with these Official Rules. The Administrator’s decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
Four (4) potential First Prize winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during each Entry Period on or about August 4, 2026.
Potential winners will be notified by email at the email address provided at the time of entry. The Administrator will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact each potential winner within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt, declines the prize, fails to comply with these Official Rules, or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner may be disqualified and will forfeit all rights to the prize. In such event, the Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries received for the applicable draw.
No entrant will be declared a winner unless and until the Administrator has verified eligibility and confirmed the entrant as a winner in accordance with these Official Rules.
Before being confirmed as a winner, each potential winner must complete and submit an online Declaration of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Publicity Release (the “Release”) within seventy-two (72) hours of notification and correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind.
Failure to complete and submit the required Release or correctly answer the skill-testing question within the specified time period may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate eligible entrant may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules.
Prizes will be delivered within approximately thirty (30) days following verification of the winners.
7. Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Contest and, if applicable, accepting a prize, each entrant, on their own behalf and on behalf of their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies involved in the administration and execution of the Contest (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, actions, causes of action, costs, or expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Released Parties are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or from the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. Winners assume all risk of loss, injury, or damage arising from acceptance or use of a prize.
8. General
The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of prizes. The Sponsor is not responsible for incompatibility of a participant’s hardware, software, or browser technology.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or illegible entries; (ii) errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries or entry materials; (iii) technical, network, telephone, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind; (iv) inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive, entry information due to technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof; or (v) any injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person’s computer or device related to or resulting from participation in the Contest.
Any attempt by any individual, whether or not a participant, to deliberately damage, tamper with, or interfere with the operation of the Contest or the Contest Website may constitute a violation of criminal and civil laws. The Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other remedies to the extent permitted by law. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant: (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements; and (ii) agrees that the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it believes has violated these Official Rules or attempted to interfere with the proper conduct of the Contest. The Sponsor further reserves the right to withdraw or modify a method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted or otherwise materially impaired.
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that materially affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. In such event, the Sponsor may conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of termination.
9. Disputes
Any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or relating to the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually and exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree that any claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages and shall not include indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.
10. Privacy
By participating in the Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Sponsor and Administrator for the purposes of administering the Contest, including contacting potential winners, verifying eligibility, announcing winners, and coordinating prize delivery.
Personal information collected is otherwise subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.oakvilleshops.com/privacy-policy/.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”), X Corp. (“X”), LinkedIn Corporation (“LinkedIn”), or Pinterest, Inc. (“Pinterest”). By participating in the Contest, each entrant releases Meta, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest from any liability in connection with the Contest.
